Numbers 7

And when Moses was gone into the tabernacle of the congregation to speak with him, then he heard the voice of one speaking unto him from off the mercy seat that was upon the ark of testimony, from between the two cherubims: and he spake unto him.
Numbers 7:89 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/num.7.89.KJV

From the rendering of this, it seems Moses spoke with God in the Tabernacle in the holy place but this time things were different.

He heard the voice speaking from the mercy seat.

The Tabernacle was complete, now God was dwelling in his dedicated place.

Interesting – God indeed is a God of times and seasons.

A quick aside, there sacrifices especially for thr ordination and sanctification of the sanctuary and the whole Tabernacle sacrifices.

So much blood shed. Why? Why these ordinations and their significance.

And I hear in my heart ” because there are laws and sin cannot go unpunished”

There are consequences to each action and we just cannot wish it or ignore it. The very nature of nature demands it.

So we fool ourselves especially this generation where we believe we can do what we like and suffer nothing.

We walk in error.
