Speak unto the children of Israel, and take of every one of them a rod according to the house of their fathers, of all their princes according to the house of their fathers twelve rods: write thou every man’s name upon his rod.

Where did this also come from?

I gués they never heard from the lord for themselves.

They were there and Moses and Aaron came that this is what God said.

I think several years having passed, someone sunddenly had an aha moment and thought 💭 don’t you think these two brothers came up with these whole Aaronic priesthood thing to lord it over them.

No wonder Moses bowed down his head in wonder when they challenged him. Seemeth it a light thing that you even serve in the Tabernacle of the lord.
