Deuteronomy 28

But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:
Deuteronomy 28:15 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/deu.28.15.KJV

I was wondering, did Moses really keep repeating the commands of the lord as we see him do so many times in the scripture.

Did he have to mention a tall list of blesses and go through its opposites and mention a tall list of curses 🤬.
I believe he did, considering how forgetfull the children of Israel were na show much sacrifice it had taken to finally bring them to this point.

He was leaving no stone unturned.

He was going to go through everyone of them blessings and curses 🤬 till it sank deep into their heads 🤕. https://bible.com/bible/1/deu.28.15.KJV

And thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all nations whither the LORD shall lead thee.
Deuteronomy 28:37 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/deu.28.37.KJV

but why would any people wait until this point when literally you’ve been destroyed, literally your life your nation your family your children, your property your businesses have come to a stand still.
why would you not return to the lord but rather wait all the way to this point and still not repent and take all of this punishment from the Lord and it’s it’s not even over yet (there’s more suffering in stock from the lord for anyone who continues in sin),

but why would you go all the way when at the end of the day you would bend the knee, when at the end of the day you will turn back to the lord or be compelled to.

it doesn’t make sense. https://bible.com/bible/1/deu.28.37.KJV

The LORD shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand;

The lord told Moses all these ?https://bible.com/bible/1/deu.28.49.KJV

Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed.

And the LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.
Deuteronomy 28:68 KJV COMMENTARY MEANING https://bible.com/bible/1/deu.28.68.KJV

Wow.. Why would no man buy them.

Would slavery so.abound that Procuring of more slaves would be worthless.

Or more likely procuring Israelites as slaves would not be worth it as there would be already so many of them on the slave market. https://bible.com/bible/1/deu.28.68.KJV
