Journeyed from which east, was it in rebellion to God, moving away from the garden of eden around which the world before hung onto in hope of returning to God

I’m back and several versions maintained the” had said” and some just used “said”.
Either ways we are not told when God said to him.
However we see earlier that Abraham’s father had set off for to go to the Land of canaan. Some say he had the calling first but did not fulfill it hence its was transfered to Abraham. It’s an inference from Genesis 11:31 KJV
And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran his son’s son, and Sarai his daughter in law, his son Abram’s wife; and they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there.
