So prior to this Jacob only served god because he was His father’s God but now he through this vow was personalizing God as his God. So our gods ought to live worthy of their name ans reputation less they be no God’s.

Who was he going to pay the tithes to, or he was going to offer them as burnt offering.. Or as a good will to men.??
