Deuteronomy 1

who went in the way before you, to search you out a place to pitch your tents in, fire by night, to shew you by what way ye should go, and in a cloud by day.
Deuteronomy 1:33 KJV COMMENTARY https://bible.com/bible/1/deu.1.33.KJV

Sad 😔 sad 😔.

So my earlier commentary was right, God did go ahead of them to search them out a place, they saw the literally shekinah and turned away from it and could somehow forget all that and be lured into sin and rebellion.

They failed themselves and their children 🧒.

And truely so are we all as men. Even now seeing what the lord has done for me and us, we continue to struggle to live wholly for him.

The delusions and lusts of this world have sank their fangs deep into us.

We have been poisoned. We are delusional.

We claim with our mouth 👄 that we serve the lord but our hearts 💕 are far away from him.

That is why we do the things we do.

We really need help 😣, the help of the Holy spirit less we be done for.

And indeed his spirit helps our infirmities and delivers us from the wickedness of ourselves and the world and it’s delusions ans emtrampments https://bible.com/bible/1/deu.1.33.KJV

Surely there shall not one of these men of this evil generation see that good land, which I sware to give unto your fathers,
Deuteronomy 1:35 KJV COMMENTARY https://bible.com/bible/1/deu.1.35.KJV

GOD called 🤙 them an evil 😈 generation,

Those are strong 💪 words to use.

Are we to safely assume then that the children 🧒 of Israel at this time were actually literally evil 😈.

You know in our time ans in every day usage, calling someone evil meant they really were wicked and cruel and heartless.

Was that the caliber of people Moses was leading, literally.

Wow then that was bad and sad.

Moses really suffered a lot, to lead a people this evil 😈.

God is kind and merciful, why would he cut short all these people except joshua and Caleb.

Then the people where indeed evil 😈.

And considering all they saw, they were evil also towards the lord.

They did not treat him farely nor Moses and other leaders who were faithful in service to the lord. https://bible.com/bible/1/deu.1.35.KJV

NOTE 2

Surely there shall not one of these men of this evil generation see that good land, which I sware to give unto your fathers,
Deuteronomy 1:35 KJV COMMENTARY https://bible.com/bible/1/deu.1.35.KJV

It is because of this wickedness of our hearts commin to all men that the lord sent his spirit into out hearts 💕.

To help our infirmities and wickedness.

We must not be conceited but rather rely on his spirit to help us.

We must give ourselves wholly to him and we would be helped
