Exodus 12

And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,
Exodus 12:1 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/exo.12.1.KJV

He spoke to them both
So they both heard.

Did he come as a person and speak face to face or they only heard words.

I am Beginning to think he came in a physical form whenever the Bible says God spoke to someone.

And when the expression the word of the lord came then it is in reference to only hearing the voice but not seeing a person. https://bible.com/bible/1/exo.12.1.KJV

For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.
Exodus 12:12 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/exo.12.12.KJV

Ahh power and authority has spoken. God was saying – I will execute judgement on all the gods of Egypt 🇪🇬 for I am the ‘I am’… I love that https://bible.com/bible/1/exo.12.12.KJV

Also take your flocks and your herds, as ye have said, and be gone; and bless me also.
Exodus 12:32 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/exo.12.32.KJV

How could he have the mind to ask for a blessing I this circumstance except to say he probably was so scared he wanted to be prayed for so his kingdom is kept from further wrath. https://bible.com/bible/1/exo.12.32.KJV

And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, that they might send them out of the land in haste; for they said, We be all dead men.
Exodus 12:33 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/exo.12.33.KJV

The Egyptians were so stubborn. For it to take such an action for them to release Israel shows how much benefit they were deriving from them https://bible.com/bible/1/exo.12.33.KJV

And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: and the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.
Exodus 12:35‭-‬36 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/exo.12.35-36.KJV

I can imagine them telling their Egyptian masters “the lord requires gold and silver for the sacrifices we would be making to him… Much gold will we require”

And so the word which God had spoken to Moses from the beginning happened https://bible.com/bible/1/exo.12.35-36.KJV

Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years.
Exodus 12:40 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/exo.12.40.KJV

What is the calculation of it . Most say the children of Israel spent 400 full years in slavery but dakes calculates the 400 years form the call of Abraham to the exodus from Egypt and there are many proofs to that https://bible.com/bible/1/exo.12.40.KJV
